I just loved this shot. The red rock, as only Oklahoma can do right in my opinion, is just the perfect color of red. It is to moody with the contours and holes.
I actually shot this when testing out an old manual lens on my camera. It is a bit of a pain, because I cannot just set the aperture and have my camera’s metering work. On mine, I could guess the speed, but basically, I had to look at the LCD just to get an idea of where I was on the exposure. No big whoop, though, because I was shooting in RAW format, so I could make the changes on the computer if I could just get close.
