In my own opinion, this is one of those photos that just did not work. My idea behind it just does not come through clear enough, that is, even if you can figure out what is going on in the photo. I think it is a little too confusing. We can use the lack of information in a photo to draw people in, but I think this is just past that line and rather draws them in but does not let them figure it out fast enough.
So, this is my example of my own learning progress. How could I make it better?
Well, basically, this is a table in the front of a church with a cup representing the covenant of blood between Christ and his Church. In the glass top of the table, the reflection of a Vietnam flag hangs. We are looking down at the table top, so the flag is actually hanging high above in the background from the balcony.
I was trying to show how the covenant of Christ brings our service to his name to places like Vietnam, in physical service and in prayer.
